Compact Office Staff Field Officers

Transitioning to a new system can naturally create questions about how daily work will be affected. While INSITE introduces several improvements, many of the core functions users rely on today will remain familiar. Below is a quick look at what users can expect at launch.

What’s Changing

Multi-Factor Authentication Login – Secure login with added verification to protect system data.

Modernized Reports – Focus on pending activities for more timely, proactive information.

Simplified Dashboard – A cleaner, more intuitive starting point for case work.

System-Wide Announcements –Key updates displayed at sign-in to keep users informed.

CARs Moved to Communications – CAR-related messages centralized for easier access.

Pre-Transfer Questions – Guided prompts to help initiate the correct transfer activity.

Faster Record Management – States can process record changes without national office approval.

Updated Terminology – “Offender” replaced with “Supervised Individual.”

Paginated Search Results – Search results displayed across pages instead of a single limit.

What’s Staying the Same

Compact Activity Workflow – Core workflow steps (submit, return, forward, delegate, assign) remain unchanged.

User Management – Creating and editing user accounts will remain the same.

Manage Case Load – Case and activity reassignment follows the current process.

Profile Records – The Profile Record remains the central hub for case details, history, and updates.

Duplicate/Junk Record Management – Process remains the same, now handled directly by states.

Compact Workload Search – Search tools and filters remain consistent with current use.

Email Notifications – Users will receive the notifications they are used to.

INSITE brings a more modern, user-friendly experience while keeping the core workflows you rely on every day. By blending updated features with familiar processes, the transition is designed to be smooth, intuitive, and well worth the change.
