INSITE - Testing Continues

The people who know ICOTS best are helping shape INSITE.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is entering its next phase, focusing on the business logic, workflows, and processes users rely on every day to manage compact cases. We're also excited to welcome six experienced ICOTS users from Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida to the testing team. Their real-world expertise will help validate INSITE's functionality, and they'll continue participating in future testing phases to help ensure the system meets user expectations. 

As development continues, we're also getting a glimpse of two features that will make everyday work in INSITE more intuitive. 

A Simpler Way to Get Started

One of the biggest changes you'll notice is the new Dashboard. Instead of navigating the crowded Assistants tab with its 17 activity options, the Dashboard helps users quickly get where they need to go. From one screen, users can launch the new guided transfer questions, access the Communications Center, or quickly submit a Notice of Departure or Notice of Arrival.

All Your Communications in One Place

Another exciting feature coming to INSITE is the new Communications Center. Unlike ICOTS, where messages are tied to individual Compact Action Requests, INSITE centralizes case communications in one location, making it easier to find correspondence and case information without searching through multiple profiles or activities.

While these features are under development, it reflects INSITE's goal of simplifying navigation, reducing unnecessary clicks, and helping users work more efficiently.
