Mississippi Asks Relocating Offenders to Shelter In Place

Notice

As of 3/19/2020, Mississippi is currently not extraditing any offenders for the next 30 days.

As of 3/30/2020, for the next 30 days Mississippi will receive and investigate transfer requests for Resident, Resident Family and military transfers.
No discretionary cases will be investigated at this time.

Mississippi will process RFRI’S for probationers living in the receiving state at the time of sentencing and for military transfers.

As of 4/2/2020, Mississippi is asking all offenders who relocate to Mississippi to shelter in place for 14 days once they arrive in Mississippi. Also, all offenders will need to report by phone when they arrive and will be given

The compact staff are working a limited schedule in the office and will continue to process compact activities as quickly as they can.
