UPDATED: Virgin Islands - The Interstate Compact Office is finally operational during normal business hours as long as the generator is working properly. Travel permits may be granted for both districts—St. Croix and St. Thomas.

FRIDAY UPDATE / URGENT: Florida still has millions without power and many roads are still impassable. Probation Offices are operational, some with limited capabilities and minimum staff, in every county excluding Monroe (the Keys).

The Compact Office is open.

Please continue to restrict all travel to Florida through the 19^th and all travel to Monroe County (the Keys) until further notice.

WEDNESDAY UPDATE: Until Further Notice: Please do not allow offenders to independently come to Texas to assist with recovery, clean-up, and all rebuilding efforts. Offenders with existing viable employment with companies or organizations contracted for such tasks should be closely evaluated and considered on a case by case basis for travel at the discretion of the supervising state.
